Public Record Éire is an independent document repository providing secure storage, timestamping and controlled access to important records.
Documents submitted to the repository are automatically timestamped and anchored to the blockchain, providing an independent record that the document existed at a particular point in time.
Documents can be protected by a Document Access Password chosen by the person submitting them. This allows the individual to provide access to a trusted person, legal representative, healthcare professional, member of An Garda Síochána or other authorised party when required.
Public Record Éire provides a straightforward way to preserve important records and make them available when they may be needed, while allowing the person concerned to control access to protected documents.
